  • Sales & Marketing Manager – Full Time – £27K and up, depending on experience.

Duties include

  • Manage a small sales team, setting goals and objectives

  • Manage and grow key relationships in the areas of export, wholesale and the local London market.

  • Working directly with the founder, alongside our financial controller.

  • Use experience to negotiate new relationships, manage discounts & incentives for customers, while influencing brew schedule, packaging balance & pricing.

  • Delegate or manage events requests, including beer lists, staffing and travel arrangements.

  • Monitoring emails and answering sales calls.

  • Inputting sales into VP Brewery Management System.

  • Visiting and contacting customer as a brand ambassador to maintain relationships.

  • Visiting and contacting potential customers with samples.

  • Working the bar at both internal and external events. Both national and international.

  • Potentially hosting & planning tastings, Meet the Brewer and other small events.

  • We also actively encourage all our staff to get involved in recipe development and the chance to brew.

  • Running and/or delegating social media.       

Role requirements

  • At least 1 year’s experience leading a sales team within a brewery. Or 3 years as a member of a sales team. (Sorry, managing a bar does not count).

  • Experience with the EMCS export portal (or ability to learn this quickly).

  • A good understanding and experience of the market and beer/bar scene.

  • A keen love and knowledge of beer, along with a good palate.

  • Needs to be highly motivated, friendly, sociable and articulate.

  • Good IT knowledge, with confidence in the use of the usual software (Excel, Word) and ability to learn new.

  • Good contacts within the beer industry.
